After the massive success, (rather unsurprisingly) of the release of Arsenal’s 2019/20 bruised banana inspired, away shirt – adidas are now set to launch their retro Originals collection. The collection is packed full of 90’s footy fashion nostalgia.
Yes we hear you cry! The collection probably of the decade is about to drop. We are but hours away from adidas launching their 90’s inspired retro collection. Items include five individual pieces, the centre piece being the return of the iconic ‘Bruised Banana’ jersey from the ‘1991/93 season. The other items; a crew neck sweater, tracksuit tops and bottoms.
The re release of the ’91 away is a like-for-like remake that is sure to tick all the boxes for hardcore fans of the past, as well as the modern jersey collector’s. adidas have also brought back the Trefoil logo something a number of fans called for when news rang out about adidas announced their new partnership with Arsenal.
The collection items celebrate the best of Arsenal’s 90’s beachwear, worn by Arsenal greats such as Wright, Adams, the list goes on.
Alongside the collection adidas have released a video that features past legends alongside current players from both the mens and women’s teams, with all stars flaunting the latest beautiful clobber. The adidas Originals x Arsenal collection will be available from the 11 December at adidas.com
