INFO - This campaign the Águilas won the 2019 Campeón de Campeones on penalties after a 0-0 draw with Tigres UANL. Finishing 6th in the Apertura, America qualified for the Liguilla where they reached the final and played a dramatic 3-3 two legged affair which ended in a penalty shootout; Monterrey held their nerve from the spot to edge America 4-2. The following Torneo Clausura was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
