'33-L'ANN' E CRIST' From NSS Sports

'33-L'ANN' E CRIST' From NSS Sports

Thirty-three years correspond to a whole generation. A generation of Neapolitans who have grown up with the myth of the sublimation of the most distant urban dream. A dream for someone that was only hinted at and never really lived, which perhaps made it even more mystical.

On the other hand, mysticism in Naples has always been something to be taken very seriously: the line between the sacred and the profane is not blurred, it is completely absent in the city that has erected a number 10 as its idol and god, who came from afar to be something that football and the city had never seen.

"33-L'ANN' E CRIST'" is the new nss book dedicated to Napoli's second and third Scudetto, between which 33 years have passed. The photographs by nine photographers in the book tell of the joy and anticipation, the mystique and iconography that links the city to football.

The book will be officially launched on 12 July from 6pm to 9.30pm with an event and talk at Spazi Volta, Via Vincenzo Bellini 30, Naples. To celebrate the passion for football, a limited edition J'Adore Napoli football jersey will also be presented for the occasion.

In the Neapolitan grimace, the number 33 represents the years of Christ, the ann' e crist', the age at which the Son of God sacrificed himself on the cross to save humanity.

"Men made the world, God made Naples. The Scudetto in Naples is the transformation of men into gods".

Diego Armando Maradona died three years before Napoli won its third Scudetto, a stadium was named after him, the one where Napoli gave this unfortunate generation its greatest dream ever. 33 years later, Christ's.

The book will be officially presented on July 12th from 6 to 9.30 p.m., with an event and talk hosted by Spazi Volta, Via Vincenzo Bellini 30 in Naples.

To celebrate the passion for football, a limited edition J'Adore Napoli football shirt will also be unveiled.
