Arsenal x Stella McCartney

Stella McCartney makes a first leap into the world of club football fashion and team wear to produce a limited edition 10-piece collection with adidas, for the Arsenal Women.

Not a stranger to football, Stella McCartney launched the first ever 100 percent vegan adidas Predator freak, back in October. The boot was worn by Paul Pogba and grabbed numerous headlines in both the boot and fashion world.

However, for this collection – Stella has focused on producing a limited edition collection that not only considers the performance elements of the garments, but also the sustainable ones. It also marks the first collaboration with a fully professional team.

The 10-piece collection includes an adidas by Stella McCartney full zip hoody, an adidas by Stella McCartney Tight and an exclusive colourway of the adidas by Stella McCartney Ultraboost 22.

The collection brings together Arsenal's club colours and a modern oversized leopard all-over graphic in a gender-neutral pre match shirt. The complete collection is on display when Arsenal Women face Spurs at the Emirates this coming Saturday! Followed by the men's team, who will be wearing the same shirt on the 4th April when they face ex Arsenal midfielder, and now PL Hall of Famer – Partrick Viera's Crystal Palace.

Arsenal striker, Vivianne Miedema said:

“It’s great to have a collection created for our team, and even more so that Stella McCartney has designed it. The designs are amazing, and I can’t wait to wear the pre-match jersey on the pitch as we get into such an important time in the season.”

Stella McCartney said:

“As the most decorated English women’s football club, Arsenal Women is made up of incredible athletes, so to be able to celebrate them – especially in a year that is so pivotal for women in sport – is incredibly special.  We’re so excited to continue our journey into the world of football by creating our first travel wear collection for a for a team.

The Arsenal x Stella McCartney collection is available from 28th March at
