Athletic Club’s 22/23 Home Kit

Athletic Club’s 22/23 Home Kit

The beauty of tradition is the inspiration behind the latest design, with the Basque club’s famous racing red and white stripes amplified through delicate kit details and the Ikurrina flag on the back of the neck.

The new home shirt also adds a raised neck collar and cuff sleeves in black, whilst matching knitted shorts and socks complete the look. The Goalkeeper kit is in traditional black and has been developed in line with the outfield players’ jerseys.

“The new jersey is great, it’s a classic design which celebrates our great history. It means a lot to the people here to see us proudly wear the red and white of Athletic Club, so I am certain the fans will love the design as much as we do”

Inaki Williams

The release is part of New Balance’s ‘Born, Bred, Basque” campaign for Athletic Club, in celebration of Los Leones’ connection to family, philosophy, and culture. The creative is guided by international photographer, Justin Bettman, who worked alongside the brand to help showcase the connection between the new design, the club, and its ties to the city.
