IT'S FOOTBALL SHIRT FRIDAY!

No-one should ever need an excuse to wear a football shirt - and especially not today.

Because it's Football Shirt Friday - the annual celebration where you get to don your favourite jersey in aid of the Bobby More Fund.

Bobby Moore was just 51 when he died in 1993. Shortly after, Bobby’s widow Stephanie Moore MBE set up the Bobby Moore Fund as a restricted fund of Cancer Research UK to raise money for pioneering bowel cancer research.

Since Bobby’s death, more than £28 million has been raised and mortality rates for bowel cancer have fallen by more than 30%.

But sadly the disease still kills 45 people in the UK every day, showing there is still a long way to go to achieve the goal of tackling bowel cancer.
