INFO - This season the Gunners were absent from the Champions League for the first time since 1997/98, this was also Arsene Wenger's final season after 22 years at the helm. A promising start to the season began with a penalty shootout win against Chelsea in the Community Shield, though this would not continue as Arsene's men struggled away from home, winning only 4 games when not playing at the Emirates in the league. A shock 4-2 loss to Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup saw the Gunners go out in the 3rd round for the first time since 1996. There was more fortune in the other cups as they reached the final and semi final of the League Cup and the Europa League respectively.
