New Balance Reveals AS Roma 21/22 Home Kit - Cult Kits

First Giallorossi strip marks global brand’s arrival in Serie A.

New Balance has revealed AS Roma’s bespoke home kit for the 21/22 season. The debut collaboration between the brand-New Balance and the Italian giant introduces a timeless interpretation of the club’s signature look.

I Giallorossi’s famous colour palette is presented in rich yellow and red shades which are synonymous with AS Roma and the city of Rome. A subtle tonal pin-stripe design is visible on the front of the jersey, accompanied by matching shorts.

The unique shirt incorporates a v-neck collar and ribbon cuff details in yellow, whilst an outer label bearing the words La Lupa - a reference to AS Roma’s iconic female wolf symbol and a historic nickname of the Capitoline team is also added.

 

 

AS Roma’s traditional rich red socks are completed with coloured hoops to match the home strip design.

AS Roma Captain Lorenzo Pellegrini said, “It’s always exciting when a new kit is revealed, especially this season. The new design was popular with the team from the moment we saw it and we are all looking forward to wearing it”.

General Manager of New Balance Football, Kenny McCallum said: “New Balance wanted to fully respect AS Roma’s traditions with a classic, unique silhouette. The Club’s famous yellow and red palette is one of the most iconic sights in world football and this year’s bespoke design aims to celebrate that”.

The goalkeeper kit arrives in a classic black with a grey speckled graphic.

New Balance has applied cutting-edge design technology across all 21/22 jerseys to ensure superior performance. Developed using innovative NB Dry technology, to help keep players fresh and dry from the first to the final whistle.

The release is part of New Balance’s ‘Only Roma’ campaign for the season ahead, in recognition of Roma as a way of life.

 

 

The first-ever New Balance & AS Roma Home Kit range is available for pre order on 14th July at AS Roma stores and will be available to purchase on www.newbalance.com/football (US residents) and www.newbalance.co.uk/football (UK residents) and in New Balance stores worldwide from the end of July.

We are registered with the Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS); this means that VAT will be calculated and collected at checkout for all orders to the EU valued up to €150.
