The Red Devils' Classic Man Utd kits have received almost as much attention as their football. The combination of Manchester United's classic red football shirts, white shorts, and black socks is known and feared throughout the game.

Since the club's name was changed to Manchester United in 1902, the retro strip has been worn by the Old Trafford side pretty much ever since. This was except for five years in the 1920s when they wore a white kit with a large red 'V'.

It has always been a priority for the club to pay close attention to its uniforms. A lightweight V-neck shirt was introduced to the team in 1955, and the side still wears black shorts when a clash of shorts colours occurs away from home.

Since Sir Alex Ferguson took over as manager, they also began wearing white socks during evening matches, especially in Europe. The reason is that white socks are considered to be more visible under floodlights than black socks.

The traditional Manchester United away shirt colour is white, but blue has occasionally been worn as well. As a result of Fergie's claim that his grey-clad players could not see each other on the pitch during the 1995-96 season when Manchester United lost 3-0 at Southampton, the gray away kit was put down in kit folklore, and at halftime, the team switched to the blue third kit. Despite this, the Saints were still able to win the game. Sharp Electronics was the club's first sponsor in 1982 and remained a sponsor for 18 years.

Founded in 1878, the club has won a record 20 English league titles, 12 FA Cups, and three European Cup/Champions League trophies, among many others. Manchester United's home ground is Old Trafford, one of the largest stadiums in England with a capacity of over 74,000.

One of the defining moments in Manchester United's history was the appointment of Sir Alex Ferguson as manager in 1986. Sir Alex spent 26 years in charge of the club and led them to numerous trophies and successes, including 13 Premier League titles and two Champions League triumphs. Under his leadership, Manchester United became one of the dominant forces in English and European football, and Sir Alex is widely regarded as one of the greatest managers in the history of the sport.

Another player who left a lasting impact on the club was Eric Cantona. Cantona joined Manchester United in 1992 and quickly established himself as one of the most important players in the team. He helped United win four Premier League titles in five years, as well as two FA Cups, and his style of play and charisma on the pitch made him a fan favourite. Cantona is considered by many as one of the best players to have ever played for the club, and his impact on Manchester United is still remembered and celebrated by supporters today.

Present day key players for Manchester United include Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford. Fernandes joined the club in January 2020 and quickly established himself as one of the most important players in the team. He has been instrumental in the team's recent success, scoring numerous goals and creating numerous opportunities for his teammates. Rashford has been a key player for the club since breaking into the first team in 2016, scoring goals and creating opportunities for his teammates. These three players, along with the rest of the team, have helped to reinvigorate the club and bring success back to Old Trafford. Erik ten Hag is currently in charge of the Red Devils.

Manchester United shirts have been manufactured by a number of top brands, including Nike, Adidas, and Umbro, and the club's home shirt is traditionally red with white trim, while the away shirt has changed over the years, including shades of black, blue, and yellow/green.
