The weekend is here and thankfully, with it, a lot of football to watch. In fact, we've got some crackers ahead of us in Serie A.

So set your alarms and cancel those Christmas shopping plans. Unless it's online of course ; ) ! OK, let's get straight to it.

Friday 03.12.21

Fulham vs Bournemouth
20:00 - Sky Sports Main Event

The two clear standout sides of this Championship season battling it out for top spot in the league on a Friday night, all at one of the best stadiums in the country - sounds alright by us. Fulham and Bournemouth go into the game separated by a single point in favour of the home side and have the form advantage over their opponents.

Benfica vs Sporting
21:15 - BT Sport 2

Anytime Benfica and Sporting meet it’s worth watching - after all the last meeting of the two finished 4-3 - but with the recent form on Sporting’s breakout star Pedro Goncalves, this could be a must-watch.

Saturday 04.12.21

Dortmund vs Bayern
17:30 - Sky Sports Football

With 24 of the last 28 Bundesliga titles between them, it’s no surprise to see Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund sitting clear atop the Bundesliga once again. With just one point between them the two sides this Saturday evening kick off could be a crucial match come the end of the season.

Roma vs Inter
17:00 - BT Sport 1

With the top two suffering a recent dip in form,  Inter - following a recent resurgence on their part - now find themselves just one and two points behind Milan and Napoli respectively. A win at fifth placed Roma could theoretically see them top the table come the end of the weekend. And while Milan should expect to get the best of Salernitana in their early afternoon kick off, Napoli face a significantly tougher test…

Napoli vs Atalanta
19:45 - BT Sport 2

That’s right, it’s a double header at the top of Serie A on Saturday evening with the early kick-off being followed by a meeting between Napoli and fourth placed Atalanta that could have huge ramifications on the top 4. A win for Atalanta could put them within two points of Napoli and with the recent form of both sides you’d have to say Atalanta, having not lost a Serie A game since early October, look to be slight favourites.

Sunday 05.12.21

Arsenal vs Chelsea
Women’s FA cup final - 14:00 - BBC One

The two best women’s teams in the country meet in the biggest game of the domestic calendar. Both sides swept past their respective semi-final opponents with ease, with each winning 3-0. And while the side's head-to-head record would suggest a slight advantage to Chelsea, the league form would say Arsenal. It really is too close to call.
