DAVID BECKHAM: MY UNFAIR ADVANTAGE

DAVID BECKHAM: MY UNFAIR ADVANTAGE
David Beckham and Adidas release new short film titled ‘My Unfair Advantage’ as the footballing icon talks about ‘that’ moment in 1998 that seemingly defined is outlook for the rest of his career.

The moment that every football fan remembers most from the 1998 World Cup Finals, in France. An established creative powerhouse, Beckham lashes out after being smashed from behind by a bull-like challenge from Simeone.

This video forms the first part of a series from adidas in which a number of Predator players reflect on some of their biggest moments throughout their careers. For our David, that moment in 1998 when he saw red, was the moment that saw Golden Balls use the negative backlash from fans and media – and using it as the fuel to drive him on to being a legend of the game.
