The latest iteration of the FIFA Club World Cup has brought with it a number of innovations. From the extensive use of ref cams to the introduction of mandatory player walk-ons before games, the now 32-team tournament has done anything but play it safe.
If we’re honest with ourselves though, the tournament hasn’t exactly been a must-watch. For many of us June is usually a chance to take a breather from the busy fixture list of a football season; something the packed CWC schedule flies in the face of. But if you’ve felt overwhelmed and haven’t tuned in to the competition as a result, you’ve been missing some great kits.
The 2025 Club World Cup has been particularly interesting from a shirt perspective with several teams debuting their 2025/26 kits and others even releasing bespoke designs to be worn at the tournament only. These fresh looks, in combination with some of the great 2024/25 kits we’ve already enjoyed, has produced some wonderful matchups from an aesthetic point of view.
We’ve combed through the games and pulled together our favourite old and new shirts in one handy list for your enjoyment.
PSG 2025/26 home kit

PSG’s new home kit is one of the best they’ve had in the modern era. It’s close to the club identity but with enough of a fresh dose of creativity to set it apart from previous editions.
Palmeiras Club World Cup home kit

One of several kits on this rundown from Puma’s outstanding collaboration with KidSuper, the Palmeiras kit is best enjoyed up close with a lovely pattern across the body of the shirt.
Dortmund Club World Cup home kit

Probably the most ‘marmite’ kit on this list, Dortmund’s KidSuper Club World Cup kit is not for the faint hearted. That’s exactly why we love it, though.
Mamelodi Sundowns Club World Cup home kit

And here we are again, with Mamelodi Sundowns benefitting this time from the handiwork of KidSuper with a design that wouldn’t look out of place in a gallery.
Real Madrid 2025/26 home kit

adidas’ revival of the Teamgeist template could hardly have been executed better.
Red Bull Salzburg Club World Cup home kit

Red Bull Salzburg might have the best KidSuper shirt of the set. This design feels particularly close to the aesthetics of Colm Dillane (KidSuper).
PSG 2024-2026 away kit

PSG’s away shirt has already made headlines with it being retained from the 2024/25 season. The superb move from the club and Nike is sure to pave the way for a return to the glory days when some kits lasted multiple seasons.
Botafogo 2025/26 away kit

Reebok are making a comeback, and Botafogo are very much flying the flag for the classic brand. The details here are great.
Monterrey Club World Cup home kit

We could write a whole article on the cuffs of the Monterrey CWC kit. That, combined with a striking pattern (which crucially continues in part on the back) is all we need.
Inter Milan 2025/26 away kit

Inter Milan continue to be good value for a progressive, daring design. We’re looking forward to seeing more of this next season.
Al-Hilal Club World Cup home kit

Another KidSuper special, in which the Puma logo and main sponsor are nestling perfectly within the crescent moon.
Bayern Munich 2025/26 home kit

General consensus is that Bayern’s 25/26 home is a flop. We’re going out on a limb here and saying that general consensus doesn’t know what they’re talking about.
Espérance Tunis 2025/26 home kit

Espérance Tunis had some buzz going into the Club World Cup, and they’ve matched it. Sticking their squad numbers on the front of the kits international style was a power move.
Botafogo 2025/26 home kit

10/10 no notes for this Botafogo home kit from Reebok. Or maybe 9/10, if we could upgrade the betting sponsor.
River Plate 2025/26 home kit

The River Plate kits of the OG Teamgeist era never reached the heights they could’ve done, with the originals not sporting contrasting piping. Those wrongs have been righted in 2025.
Boca Juniors 2025/26 home kit

And of course as shirt nerds will remember, Boca were with Nike during the 00s. Seeing them in a Teamgeist inspired kit is like one of those concepts you see doing the rounds.
Inter Miami 2025/26 home kit

The pink on pink stripes of Inter Miami’s 2025 home kit might be a new high point for the club.
Porto 2025/26 home kit

New Balance and Porto have been great for each other, and their long partnership showcases the benefit of club x brand consistency.
Juventus 2025/26 away kit

Nothing could have prepared us for the Juventus away kit, and the daring look has a sort of 00s graphics feel which is hard to forget.
