The FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019 kicks off in less than two weeks and promises to be the most watched and highly anticipated Women’s tournament in history. Whilst fans from around the world are flocking to France, This Fan Girl will be celebrating the group games right here in London- and you’re invited.
This Fan Girl is an online platform that represents female football fans through content and community. Our meet-ups, which we’ve been running for two years, are intended to create a safe and positive space for women to watch and make friendships through football. Whilst we encourage people to bring “your nan or your man”, our meet-ups are especially designed for the solo football fan in mind - we know it can lonely watching on your own.
This summer, with support from adidas, we’ll be collaborating with some of the most creative women in London to extend the ethos of our meet-ups, and host screenings of every England group game at Peckham Springs, plus some additional special events.

Naysap is a freelance Fashion Stylist & Film Photographer that specialises in campaign and fashion editorials. Little Pink Book is a female focused initiative founded by Roberta Hickey, with a goal to make positive space for womxn within the music industry . Little Pink Book serves also as a music consultancy offering talent booking, artist liaisons, event programming and brand partnerships with the premise that females are fairly represented in all that they do.
