The terms get mixed together all the time.

A vintage football shirt is an original piece produced during the era in which the design was used.

“Retro football shirt” is a broader term. It can describe original vintage kits, older shirts from recent decades and, in some cases, later recreations of classic designs.

An official reissue is different again. It’s a newer, licensed reproduction of an older shirt.
