Manchester United are historically the greatest team in Premier League history, the red devils have won a record 13 titles in the competition. United's domination in the league came mostly in the 90s and early 00s, with their last triumph coming in the 2012/13 season.
This top 10 wasn't easy, United have worn plenty of amazing shirts throughout their history. As you can see below, we think a certain decade was the standout with only one shirt creeping in from outside of the 90s era. Check out our top 10 Man United kits below and let us know what you would change? Or have we smashed it?

10. 2018/19 Away
We start with this very fashionable and collectable gem created by Adidas. We are suckers for pink kits at Cult Kits and this one designed for Jose Mourinho's Man United side is right up there with the other pink classic kits.
9. 1990/92 Home
Up next is this early Adidas stunner, worn the season before the inaugural Premier League season from 1990 to the end of 1992. Model here by club legend Bryan Robson, looking fresh faced in a fresh trefoil kit.
8. 1998/00 Home
This iconic number designed by British sportswear legends Umbro was worn during United legendary triple season, worn in the FA Cup final and throughout the Premier League campaign. The collar, cuffs and sleeve taping take this shirt into the elite category, that zip however is a constant nightmare of fragility.
7. 1994/96 Third
The 90s was without a doubt the finest decade for Umbro, another classic here with the United Third shirt, worn on the final day of 1995/96 Premiership winning season, proudly sponsored by Carling... Cheers lads!
6. 1992/94 Third
Another Umbro classic, this shirt designed to commemorate United's roots on the 100 year anniversary of their name change from Newton Heath to Manchester United. Worn during the inaugural Premiership season, United and Cantona ended up runaway league leaders, winning by a clear 10 points.
5. 1997/99 Home European
It didn't feel right placing such a historic shirt this low down in our top 10, not only did United win their most famous trophy whilst wearing it, it is also a thing of beauty. The closed up collar, UEFA branding woven into the material and the gold shielded crest all come together to make this a complete kit, especially in long sleeve.
4. 1995/96 Away
To say this shirt is famous is an understatement, only worn a handful of times, and infamously replaced at half time after a woeful 1st half performance against Southampton at the Dell, the shirt was never to be seen again. Not only is this shirt rare and infamous, it is a classic Umbro design that deserves to be remembered for its beauty rather than it's blurred history.
3. 1992/94 Home
This Umbro design was worn in the inaugural Premiership season and is beautifully modelled here by Homes Under the Hammer legend, Dion Dublin. The home shirt to mark the 100 year anniversary of United's name change from Newton Heath features the iconic shoelace collar and Umbro woven material.
2. 1990/92 Away
Known to the football shirt community as the Snowflake kit, this light blue (controversial) kit is an absolute fan favourite and was very nearly our number 1 pick. Worn in the last season of the old 1st division and recently recreated for the 2021/22 campaign and before that by Pharrell Williams as part of his Adidas Humanrace collection.
1. 1993/95 Away (Black)
Here it is, the one you've been waiting for, top of the league. Our favourite United shirt is another infamous one, again involving the enigmatic Frenchman, Eric Cantona and that insane kung-fu kick. You can't beat an all black kit, the subtle blue and yellow notes really popping off the black contrasting perfectly.
So there you have it, our top 10 Manchester United Shirts of all time. How'd we do? Happy or fuming? Either way let us know on our socials or in the comments.
