La Brujita (the little witch), Juan Sebastian Veron had an illustrious career starting in his home land of Argentina. He came through the youth system at Estudiantes and made 60 senior appearances for his boyhood club before moving on to Boca Juniors for one season. He then ventured off to Italy and the Serie A with Sampdoria, Parma and Lazio where he won the Serie A and Coppa Italia in the 1999/00 season. Whilst playing for the Rome based club he attracted the attention of Sir Alex Ferguson and Manchester United. In 2001 he transferred to the Red Devils where he played 51 games over 2 seasons before moving to Premier League rivals Chelsea. Things didn't work out for La Brujita in England and Jose Mourinho loaned him back to Italy where he joined Inter Milan for 2 season, winning 2 Coppa Italia trophies and a Serie A title in 2006. Veron was capped 72 times by Argentina scoring 9 goals in all competitions, he played in three World Cups; 1998, 2002 and 2010.
