With the Milan derby on the horizon in this years UEFA Champions League, we have curated a collection of the finest vintage gear and modern classic football shirts on offer from the two Italian giants. The Milan derby has only been played twice before in this competition with AC Milan taking the spoils on both occasions. Two draws in 2002/03 competition with AC going though on away goals, Andriy Shevchenko scoring the decisive goal at the San Siro. In 2004/05 AC Milan defeated Inter again, winning 5-0 on aggregate. Shevchenko scored the only goal in the 2nd leg however the game was eventually halted due the fans launching multiple flares onto the pitch with one hitting AC Milan's Brazilian stopper Dida. This incident created the backdrop for one of the most iconic photographs in football, where Rui Costa of AC Milan and Materazzi of Inter Milan watched on as the stadium is alight with flares. AC were awarded a 3-0 victory by default after winning the 1st leg 2-0. There were many legends on show in both ties; Kaka, Crespo, Pirlo, Cafu, Maldini, Seeforf, Adriano, Veron, Zanetti, Mihajlovic and Esterban Cambiasso to name a few!
