With the new season fast approaching, or already here if you support anyone outside of the Premier League, this last few weeks we have all been flooded with new kits!
Most clubs release at least 3 kits these days, but they often long it out one shirt at a time. It keeps the fans salivating with excitement, especially if you support Newcastle United or anyone who has been blessed with the magic adidas trefoil. If your club has released a disappointing Home & Away you can usually guarantee that the third shirt will deliver!
Often the third shirt is the one that the designers just get to let loose on, sometimes for the better but this isn't always the case unfortunately as you will see here.
This article is dedicated to the pink shirt, more often than not a rouge colour pick to contrast the clubs usual historical colours in a desperate attempt to drive shirt sales. If they're nice they're nice, check out our top picks from this season drop below.

Blackburn Third
We start with a personal favourite of your writer; Macron have really made a statement with their artistic kit releases of recent seasons and they have gone all in this season too. If it was acceptable to own another UK clubs shirt this one would have been copped instantly.
West Brom Away
We stay with Macron here, as previously mentioned, they don't miss at the moment! They've made another delectable pink number with the Baggies traditional colours incorporated into the sleeves and collar.
Palermo Home
We leave the Midlands, and Macron, to cross over to the beautiful island of Sicily, the home of Palermo FC. I Rosanero have always traditionally worn a pink home shirt, however this particular offering from Puma really catches the eye thanks to that pink and black contrast, earning it a place in our list.
Southampton Third
This is one of the examples previously mentioned when the third kit does not manage to deliver, even after the disappointment brought on from the home and away kit. Puma tried the iconic pink angle but ultimately the shade of pink, the clubs sponsorship deals and the yellow logos are all a miss.
Brentford Third
The Saints Premier League and red & white striped rivals, Brentford, with the help of Umbro, have ticked all the correct boxes with their pink third shirt. A lovely tone of pink with subtle purple contrasts make this kit a very smart addition to a bees fans wardrobe.
Girona Third
Manchester City's new third shirt... sorry, Girona's new third shirt follows a similar template to Brentford's; subtle contrast on a lovely shade of pink, the sponsor adapting to the shirts design rather than horrible abstract betting sponsor blinding you from all angles with it's enticing colours and standout-ability.
Ipswich Third
The final entry on our set list is this acute piece designed by minority shareholder and current shirt sponsor, Ed Sheeran. Personally the shade of pink is a disaster straight of the bat, this is the colour that keepers need to wear to make themselves targets... then we come to the soundwaves, sure, Ed is a Tractor boy and he has combined his two worlds but this is a war of the worlds not a beautiful harmony.
