It’s been quite a few months for the Denmark Women’s National team on the kit front.
Last March saw the release of the striking ROTATE collab jersey; a design which we thought showcased the best that fashion collabs have to offer in the football shirt world. Now hummel and the DBU are back with a new jersey launched ahead of EURO 2025, and it might be just as fashionable as the kit that preceded it.

From a colour perspective the 2025 Denmark women’s national team home shirt immediately stands out. Instead of the typical pure white secondary colour, it appears that hummel have opted for an ever so slightly off-white shade. It’s a ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ type detail, but it’s a really attractive choice which gives off vintage vibes and helps to distinguish the design from previous Denmark kits.
Of course, the off-white is only the supporting act to the red, and once again there is an intriguing use of colour. Far from being one tone, a darker red for the top of the shirt is backed up by two further shades throughout the body. In said body you’ll see a shadow stripe pattern, and speaking of stripes the collar boasts a crisp dark red stripe trim.

Going back to the shadow stripes, the classic technique is one of the best ways to add interest to a simpler design. We’re seeing a number of teams and brands moving towards things like jacquard patterns (patterns in the fabric of the shirt) and shadow stripes, and the way the light bounces off and reflects off the new Denmark shirt showcase the strength of the direction.
A final note sees hummel providing a long sleeve option for the kit. The long sleeve revival has been more slow and steady than rapid, but hummel are one of the manufacturers continuing to push long sleeves as a choice for both players, fans and collectors.
