Game on: Edgar Davids debuts Just Eat Takeaway.com’s new 90s inspired merch - Cult Kits

To celebrate the UEFA Champions League Final, Just Eat Takeaway.com is bringing together the biggest names in streetwear, Daily Paper’s Abderrahmane Trabsini and sports jeweller, TROPHY BY GASSAN, to create a capsule collection for football fans.

Just Eat Takeaway.com has today announced its co-collaboration with Daily Paper’s Co-founder and Head of Design, Abderrahmane Trabsini, and football’s favourite jeweller, TROPHY BY GASSAN, on a limited-edition collection of football shirts and customised jewellery in the lead up to the UEFA Champions League Final. The retro inspired capsule includes three distinct football jerseys and five diamond necklace charms, featuring fan favourite orders from sushi to pizza, donned by football legend Edgar Davids.

The shirts, designed in partnership with Trabsini, are available in Just Eat Takeaway.com’s signature JET orange, nodding to the partnership through unique design features. From the bespoke patch on the front of each jersey to Just Eat Takeaway.com’s iconic knife and fork emblem, which has been reimagined across the shirt’s pattern.

The diamond encrusted charm collection, inspired by Trabsini and designed by Amsterdam-based jewellery specialist, GASSAN, sees a playful take on the jewellery worn by 90s football icons, which can now be seen reimagined into fans’ top takeaway choices.

“When designing the jerseys, I set out to capture the spirit of retro football shirts celebrated for their bold colours and vibrant patterns. I drew inspiration from the legendary kits of the ‘90s, like the Netherlands’ striking 1998 jersey, and the era’s rich football culture."

Abderr Trabsini, Head of Design at Daily Paper.
