This might be controversial, but this needs to STOP.
Three things is back. And first off, we need to talk about the nostalgia bait that is Adidas's Trefoil template. Look, ahead of the World Cup, these dropped, and there were some absolutely sensational shirts from Argentina, Spain, Curaçao, Venezuela, I could go on. We believe you can have too much of a good thing. Nearly every team on the planet has one of these Trefoils as their away kit. And we're tired of seeing everyone lose their minds every time there's a slightly different colourway or a new pattern.

They're boring. Which brings us onto point two; the retro resurgence done correctly. Whilst the spotlight on designs is currently elsewhere, Kappa, Reebok, Puma, even Macron have been coming through with some extraordinary retro inspired designs that deserve way more love than they're currently getting. Think big collars, bold prints, and extravagant patterns. There are some real head turners and showstoppers if you know where to look. And trust us, they are worth looking for.

And finally, thing 3; Napoli's new red third shirt is an absolute stunner. We have seen so many people online crying because the badge placement isn't quite right. But actually, you just don't know ball. It's an obvious homage to the late 80s cult classics worn by the likes of Diego Maradona. And honestly, what's not to love? Yes, it is a bold move, but is it any worse than slapping a retro logo slap bang in the center of a shirt?

So, that's this week's three things. Are the Adidas Trefoil shirts officially played out, or are we just delusional? Are we overlooking some of the "smaller" brands? Are they COOKING?!
